Office 365: Subscription Model Update

Hello, valued partner!

We wanted to make you aware of changes coming to your ‘per seat’ monthly or annual subscription model for Office 365.

These changes will require some action on your part no later than Friday, May 13, 2022. Our deadline is earlier than Microsoft's because we need to implement the changes with Microsoft on your behalf.

The option to switch to the new licensing model is available now, but if no decision has been made by July 1, Microsoft will be automatically moving accounts to the new model on the Monthly option and implementing the additional 20% price increase.

There are two subscription models—Monthly and Annually.


  • Ability to change number of licenses month-to-month.
  • There is an additional 20% premium for this level of flexibility.


  • Monthly billing option for annual subscription.
  • Upfront, one-time payment.
  • No reductions can be made to the number of seats. If an employee leaves, the license seat remains active.

What I like most about STL is the personal nature of the services.
