Similar to leasing or licensing, Hardware as a Service (HaaS) allows businesses to avoid the significant, repeated expense of having to buy the latest computer hardware (and associated software programs) needed to keep your technology up to date.

In this model, hardware that belongs to a managed service provider (MSP), like STL, is installed at a customer’s site.
A service level agreement (SLA) defines the responsibilities of both parties.

The capital expense is not on our books. In other words, we look at our balance sheet and we don’t have $100,000 of hardware that we’re depreciating over the next five years, and we haven’t had to borrow $100,000 from the bank to buy this stuff.
