Position: Truss Equipment Operator

Job Description
Assemble component parts on layout table and fasten parts together with power press/nailer. Stack finished products in an organized manner, according to order number or truss type. Monitor materials/products quality for obvious defects. Support safety programs including safety meetings/audits, safety procedure compliance and accident investigation. Assure proper materials such as lumber grade and plates used. May assist in loading of trusses onto truck using proper loading for safety. May repair and maintain equipment as required. May perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum reasoning ability; minimum math ability (shop math) Must speak and understand English. Must provide their own 22 ounce hammer and 25 foot tape measure. Work gloves, safety glasses and ear protection required.
